Foster Care Reviews are involved in DCF cases where people can be involved in a review at the DCF office of the appropriateness of the child or children’s placement, the participation of the parents or guardians, foster care and DCF. There are certain tasks or service plans that are looked at in terms of the completions of those tasks and whatever progress if any, towards the outcome.

The foster care reviews are where at least one child is under 18 and at least one of the children is in placement.  It is an administrative panel and will also make a determination both for the 6 months prior in terms of how the goal has been met and what the action plan or service plan is for the next month and to see whether or not the goal is appropriate for the goal to be achieved.
