With relief packages from the federal government being supplied during the pandemic, I have had people ask questions about what happens with the money in a divorce case.
There has been a dispute about whether this money should be divided equally amongst parties, or whether the person with child custody should receive it. It’s important to attempt to reach an agreement about this issue, and if you aren’t able to reach this agreement it should be something you should try to file in court.
