Alimony and Retirement in Massachusetts.

In Massachusetts, the idea of lifetime alimony is mostly over. Now there are durational term limits on most alimony, and there is something called the “Alimony Reform Act,” but usually the most alimony would go up to, would be full retirement age.

There are questions about cohabitation, meaning living with somebody else, and why that could either terminate or reduce alimony if you can show that the person receiving the alimony cohabitates with another person for a period of time.
