Generally, the answer is yes.  There would still be a child support order, even if the parents are able to agree on an equal parenting time.  The child support calculations base it on the income of the parties and who pays health, dental and vision insurance.  If there is childcare and who pays the childcare and if there are any prior support obligations.  If both parties have very similar income there might be no child support order.  There can always be an agreement that there be no child support order, but the court would need to approve it in writing if the child support guidelines are not followed.
